ARTS culture in the Central Highlands continues to thrive and expand with the introduction of Central Highlands Regional Council’s Metal in March.
From the first Friday in March, Capella, Comet and Springsure will all host metal and wire art workshops.
The workshops, led by artists Sue Pukallus, Helen McLennan and Milynda Rogers, will provide aspiring and experienced artists alike the opportunity to create their own distinctive artwork.
Mayor Kerry Hayes said the workshops provide an excellent opportunity for aspiring artists of all experience levels.
“Metal in March is another excellent opportunity to diversify the region’s thriving arts and culture sector by brining a new creative experience to some of our smaller communities,” Mayor Hayes said.
“Even if you are a complete wire art novice, I encourage anyone interested to try something new2and give these lessons a go.”
