However,these issues are not just affecting casual and contract miners in that area,but all over Australia.
“We propose anumber of things regarding safety of casual and contract coal miners,” said OneNation Senator, Malcolm Roberts in an interview.
“My awarenessof this came about because of a miner in the Hunter Valley approaching us. He’dbeen to the Labour Party, he’d been to the Greens in New South WalesParliament, he’d been to the Liberal National Party ministers in New SouthWales, now one had helped him. He’d been to the Hunter Valley division of theCFMEU and they wouldn’t help him.
“I want tomake it very clear that things in the Hunter Valley are much worse than CentralQueensland.
